Prenatal Yoga Course in Rishikesh

What is a Prenatal Yoga Training Course?

Prenatal yoga is a mindful, carefully adapted yoga practice performed during pregnancy. It celebrates the miraculous change which occurs in the body and mind of a woman and prepares her to have a more conscious and easier delivery. Prenatal yoga concentrates on the development of strength, flexibility and emotional stability, and minimizes anxiety, back aches and exhaustion that are often experienced during pregnancy.

Our prenatal yoga training program at Himalayan Yoga Association is carefully designed to meet the special physical and emotional needs of pregnant women in each phase of their pregnancy, the first trimester up to the last trimester before delivery.

What is a Postnatal Yoga Training Course?

Once the baby arrives, the journey for a mother doesn't slow down, it deepens. The postnatal period is associated with a new set of physical and emotional challenges: hormonal changes, pelvic floor healing, exhaustion, and the emotional burden of a new motherhood.

Postnatal yoga education will help mums to regain their bodies and mind in a natural manner. It is designed to regain core strength, recover the pelvis, eliminate postpartum anxiety and build the inner power to care about herself and her baby. Postnatal yoga is not merely physical healing, but spiritual home.

    Meditation and Wellness
Divyangana Kothari is a yoga instructor, meditation guide, and wellness researcher from Rishikesh, India, known for her warmth, sincerity, and a deeply lived commitment to the yogic path. Her journey with yoga began not as a career plan, but as a genuine seeking, a quiet inner call to understand the deeper relationship between body, breath, and soul.

With a strong foundation in traditional Ashtanga Yoga, she has spent the last several years not just practicing but truly living and sharing her teachings on Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga Nidra, guiding students toward stillness, self-awareness, and deep rest.
